The increase in “texters” has, in turn, increased the likelihood of the occurrence of a car accident. In Colorado, it is illegal to send text messages and e-mails while driving. It is also illegal for drivers under the age of 18 to use a cell phone while driving. Many individuals are the victim of a texting-related automobile accident.
