Scott O’Sullivan is a strong believer in charitable work and giving back to the Colorado community in various ways both financially and in personal time.

The First Tee of Denver

About: The mission of The First Tee of Denver is to use golf as a tool to educate kids academically, socially, and physically. While it is a major goal of The First Tee of Denver to introduce inner city and disadvantaged youth to practice and play opportunities in golf, we see a chance to use the unique challenges of the game to work with and through schools to assist in the academic development of the boys and girls in our program.

Involvement: Scott began working with the First Tee of Denver as a volunteer in 2005. He worked in several Denver Public Schools helping kids with their reading, writing and math skills. Scott was invited to be on the Board of Directors in 2008 and is currently the President of the Board.

Thin Blue Line Motorcycle Ride

About: Each year the Colorado chapter of the Sentinels Motorcycle Club holds a ride that benefits the families of fallen police officers.

Involvement: For two consecutive years, The O’Sullivan Law Firm has been a major sponsor and contributor to this event.

BikeDenver.org

About: BikeDenver advocates for better policies and infrastructure to support increased bicycling in Denver, operates programs designed to engage and educate the public about the benefits of safe bicycling, engages hundreds of volunteers annually in events that promote bicycling and communicates regularly via web and social media to thousands with an interest in improving bicycling in Denver.

Involvement: The O’Sullivan Law Firm is a Founding Member sponsor. As well, Scott is a contributing writing for the BikeDenver.org website to help educated riders about their rights and responsibilities on the road.

Voter Advocacy

Involvement: Every four years our nation holds its general election and for the last 6 elections Scott has volunteered as onsite legal counsel to high-volume voter locations to make sure that voter’s rights are not violated in this critical democratic process.

Good Shepherd Catholic School

About: Good Shepherd Catholic School is committed to the formation of students whose love of learning will lead them to become academic achievers, critical thinkers, and problem solvers.

Involvement: Scott’s two children attend Good Shepherd and Scott donates his time at most school functions and is a major donor to help raise funds to supplement the teacher’s salaries.

Cheeseman Park Advocacy Group

About: The mission of the Cheesman Park Advocacy Group is to preserve, improve, and maintain the historic integrity of Cheesman Park in a diverse, people-friendly environment.

Involvement: The O’Sullivan Law Firm has been a major sponsor for several fundraising events since the group started in 2004.

Colorado Chaos Scooter Ride

About: The Colorado Chaos annual 2-day event hosted by Sqream Scooter Club and presented by Erico Motorsports benefits various local charities such as National Jewish Health (2011) and Freedom Service Dogs (2012).

Involvement: For the past two years the O’Sullivan Law Firm has been a major sponsor to this event and a resource to riders regarding their rights on the road.
