Story of the Week: Local Car and Motorcycle Is Coming to Town

The courthouse square in Las Animas, Colorado will host the 7th Annual Andrew Ricken Memorial Scholarship Car Show this Saturday. The show consists of different categories for cars, trucks, motorcycles, tractors, pickups, vehicles under construction and bicycles. The top three vehicles in each category will receive an award, and other awards will be awarded for the vehicle that is the farthest distance, has the best paint job and is considered the best of show. Donations are requested for the local food bank and Wings to Soar Motorcycle Ministries will make an appearance at the show to share their testimonies with the attendees. The show is intended to be a family event and many children’s activities and games will be featured at the event.
