Bicycle and Car Collision at E 47th Ave Results in Injuries

DENVER, CO 8/18/2025. In the early hours of August 18, 2025, at approximately 4:08 AM Mountain Time, a traffic incident involving a bicycle and a passenger car was reported at the intersection of East 47th Avenue and North Walden Street. This location is situated around a quarter mile northeast of the major cross streets Peoria Street and Green Valley Ranch Boulevard in the Gateway – Green Valley Ranch neighborhood. The collision occurred on the roadway and was related to a stop sign being disregarded by the northbound vehicle making a left turn. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported from this incident.
