Careless Driving Leads to Injury in Baker Neighborhood

DENVER, CO 9/23/2025. On September 23, 2025, at 5:35 PM, a traffic incident involving a passenger car was reported near the intersection of W Bayaud Ave and S Santa Fe Dr, about half a mile to the southwest. The vehicle, traveling north, ran off the left side of the road and struck a concrete highway barrier under dark-lighted conditions, with the roads noted as wet. The accident resulted in one passenger sustaining serious injuries. The incident was attributed to driver inexperience and careless driving. No fatalities were reported. This marks one of the several incidents reported in the Baker neighborhood, which has seen 775 traffic-related incidents over the past year.
