Cara New is an associate attorney at The O’Sullivan Law Firm. Her practice is limited to personal injury cases.

Cara initially discovered her passion for representing personal injury victims as an associate at a high-volume personal injury law firm. She almost exclusively represented people who had been injured in car accidents and, occasionally, general negligence matters. During this time, she was responsible for a large caseload and successfully negotiated over 400 settlements. She also discovered her interest in litigation, especially insurance litigation. Cara brought numerous lawsuits against some of the largest insurance companies in the country, resulting in many six-figure and even seven-figure recoveries for her clients. Through representing countless clients in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials she discovered the importance of effectively conveying each client’s story.

After several years, it became clear to her that the volume of cases did not allow the level of client engagement she felt was necessary to be the most effective advocate possible for her clients. Thereafter, she joined The O’Sullivan Law Firm where she is committed to keeping clients at the center of her practice.

Cara obtained her law degree from the University of Colorado. She is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, American Bar Association and is admitted to practice in both state and federal courts in Colorado.
