Early Morning Bicycle Accident Reported in Platt Park

DENVER, CO 8/30/2025. On August 30, 2025, at 4:35 AM, a bicycle accident was reported on the 1600 block of S Broadway St in the Platt Park neighborhood of Denver. The incident occurred approximately 0.3 miles south of the intersection with W Louisiana Ave. The collision involved a bicycle and an SUV, with the SUV traveling east and going straight without any apparent contributing factors from the driver. The bicyclist was reportedly traveling on the sidewalk against traffic. No serious injuries or fatalities were reported in this driveway access-related accident. This marks the 127th incident in the neighborhood since September 4, 2024.
