Early Morning Collision Involving SUV and Pickup Truck in Athmar Park

On August 9, 2024, at approximately 5:30 AM, a traffic incident involving an SUV and a pickup truck was reported on the 800 Block of S Lipan St in the Athmar Park neighborhood of Denver. The collision occurred on the roadway, approximately 1 mile south of W Alameda Ave and S Lipan St. Both vehicles were traveling south, with the SUV attempting to pass when it sideswiped the stopped pickup truck. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported in this non-intersection collision.
