Fatal Collision Involving Passenger Car and Transit Bus on I-70 in Denver

DENVER, CO 9/15/2025. On September 15, 2025, at 1:04 AM MT, a fatal traffic incident was reported on the westbound lanes of the I-70 Highway near North Holly Street, approximately 0.3 miles west. The collision involved a passenger car and a transit bus in the Express/Managed/HOV Lane during dawn or dusk conditions. The passenger car, driven recklessly and attributed to aggressive driving, collided front-to-rear with the bus, resulting in one fatality within the passenger car. No serious injuries were reported in the incident, which occurred in the Northeast Park Hill neighborhood.
