Fatal Traffic Incident Near E 40th Ave and N Colorado Blvd Results in Two Deaths

DENVER, CO 12/6/2024. On December 6, 2024, at 10:33 PM, a tragic traffic accident occurred at the intersection of E 40th Ave and N Colorado Blvd, approximately 0.1 miles east of the major cross streets. The incident involved a passenger car traveling north that ran off the right side of the road, hitting both a curb and utility poles, and resulted in two fatalities. It occurred under dark-lighted conditions in the Northeast Park Hill neighborhood of Denver. Witness reports indicate the driver was carelessly driving at the time of the crash. No serious injuries were recorded beyond the fatalities. This marks the 293rd incident reported in the neighborhood since December 7, 2023.
