Icy Road Collision in Capitol Hill Leaves One Seriously Injured

DENVER, CO 2/15/2025. On February 15, 2025, at 3:10 PM MT, a traffic incident with serious injury was reported at the intersection of East 11th Avenue and North Pearl Street in Denver’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. The collision, approximately 0.2 miles northeast of the major intersection of 11th Avenue and Broadway, involved two passenger vehicles. Both vehicles were traveling straight when a ‘front-to-side’ impact occurred under dark, icy conditions, among other factors leading to the crash. The driver of one vehicle was reported to engage in careless driving, and one occupant was seriously injured. No fatalities were reported, adding to 403 incidents recorded in this neighborhood in the past year.
