Icy Roads Lead to Serious Injury in Montbello Traffic Incident

DENVER, CO 1/19/2025. On January 19, 2025, at 5:31 PM, a serious traffic incident was reported near the intersection of N Chambers Rd and E 52nd Ave in the Montbello neighborhood of Denver. A passenger car traveling north veered off the right side of the road, struck a curb, and collided with a tree in dark-lighted conditions on an icy roadway. The driver was traveling too fast for the conditions, resulting in one serious injury. No fatalities were reported. The site of the incident was at the intersection, approximately located within the Montbello area, which has seen 455 other incidents reported since January 20, 2024.
