Motorcycle Accident on I-25 North Leaves One Injured Near Hampden Avenue

DENVER, CO 8/9/2025. A traffic incident involving a motorcycle and an SUV was reported on August 9, 2025, at 4:41 PM MT. The accident occurred on northbound I-25, approximately 0.25 miles north of E Hampden Avenue in the Hampden South neighborhood of Denver. The scene is described as a non-intersection location with dark-lighted conditions. The motorcycle, traveling north, collided front-to-side with the SUV, resulting in one serious injury. The motorcycle rider was reportedly driving carelessly, according to preliminary reports. This marks the 431st reported incident in the Hampden South neighborhood since the same date last year, although no fatalities were reported in this specific incident.
