Motorcycle Accident Reported in Elyria Swansea with No Serious Injuries

DENVER, CO 1/2/2026. On January 2, 2026, at 8:33 AM MT, a motorcycle accident was reported at the intersection of 40th Street and Wynkoop Street in the Elyria Swansea neighborhood, approximately half a mile west of the I-70 and York Street interchange. The incident involved an SUV traveling north and making a left turn, which failed to yield the right of way to an eastbound motorcycle going straight. The SUV driver was unfamiliar with the area, leading to a front-to-side collision on the roadway. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported.
