Motorcycle Crash on I-25 in Denver’s Baker Neighborhood Leads to Serious Injury

DENVER, CO 10/14/2025. A traffic incident involving a motorcycle and a passenger car occurred on October 14, 2025, at 6:57 AM on southbound I-25 just south of the W 6th Ave exit in Denver’s Baker neighborhood. The accident happened on the roadway in a non-intersection area approximately 0.3 miles south of the major Interstate intersection with W 6th Ave. According to authorities, the motorcycle, which was changing lanes, was involved in a front-to-rear collision with a passenger car that was slowing down. The crash resulted in one serious injury to the motorcycle rider, but no fatalities were reported. Careless and aggressive driving by the motorcyclist was noted as contributing factors, while the driver of the passenger car did not have any apparent contributing factors. This marks one of the significant incidents out of 805 reported in the Baker neighborhood since the same date last year.
