DENVER, CO 7/1/2025. A traffic incident involving a motorcycle and an SUV was reported on July 1, 2025, at approximately 2:53 PM Mountain time in the Overland neighborhood of Denver. The collision occurred on the roadway at the intersection of W Florida Ave and S Santa Fe Dr, roughly 0.2 miles northwest of this major cross street. The incident involved a northbound SUV making a U-turn and a westbound motorcycle going straight, resulting in a ‘Front to Side’ collision under dark but lighted conditions. The SUV driver was cited for careless driving related to age and driver ability issues. The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries, but no fatalities were reported. This marks the 199th incident in Overland since July 2024.
