One Seriously Injured After Vehicle Strikes Pole in Cherry Creek

DENVER, CO 7/26/2025. A traffic incident involving a passenger car resulted in one serious injury after the vehicle collided with a light pole on the 2300 block of E 1st Ave, approximately half a mile east of the major cross streets Speer Blvd and 1st Ave. The accident was reported at 5:58 AM on July 26, 2025, in Denver’s Cherry Creek neighborhood. The vehicle was traveling west on a non-intersection roadway. There were no fatalities reported, and the driver did not have any contributing action; a medical condition was noted as a contributing factor. This incident adds to the 293 incidents reported in the Cherry Creek area over the past year.
