Scott O'Sullivan Charity Work in Denver ColoradoI am a strong believer in giving back to the Colorado community. I thought I’d share a few examples of the people, organizations and causes that I believe make a difference in our community. My family and I give our time and resources to these organizations, and the O’Sullivan Law Firm makes financial contributions, as well. Check ‘em out!

  1. BikerDown.org: BikerDown.org is a non-profit organization that was established in 2011 by a group of bikers, motorcycle dealers and supporters to assist motorcycle accident victims who have been injured in an accident while riding responsibly. The O’Sullivan Law Firm is a financial supporter of BikerDown and I am also a member of the organization’s board of directors.
  2. The First Tee of Denver: The mission of The First Tee of Denver is to use golf as a tool to educate kids academically, socially and physically. The First Tee of Denver introduces inner city and disadvantaged youth to golf, helping to instill in them the game’s most important skills: responsibility, respect, perseverance and integrity. The O’Sullivan Law Firm offers a $10,000 college scholarship to one deserving First Tee high school senior every spring.
  3. Denver Urban Scholars: Denver Urban Scholars is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping metro Denver students with the greatest need graduate from high school and enter higher education with a meaningful life plan for success. 7. Good Shepherd Catholic School: Good Shepherd Catholic School is committed to the formation of students whose love of learning will lead them to become academic achievers, critical thinkers and problem solvers. My two children attend Good Shepherd and I donate my time at most school functions. As a member of the Good Shepherd Foundation, I help the school raise funds to supplement the teachers’ salaries and to fund other important school needs.
  8. ProjectReCycle.org: Project ReCycle collects used bikes on a weekly basis, refurbishes them and donates them to deserving children through various need-based and academic incentive programs. The O’Sullivan Law Firm donates annually to this organization and I also volunteer my time in bike collection programs.
  9. Hobart and William Smith Colleges: Located in the heart of New York State’s Finger Lakes Region, Hobart and William Smith are independent liberal arts colleges distinctive for providing highly individualized educations. I am an alumnus of the Colleges, a regular donor and a member of the Alumni Council.
