Pedestrian Incident Reported on I-70 in Central Park Neighborhood

DENVER, CO 8/7/2025. On August 7, 2025, at 11:24 PM local time, a traffic incident involving a pedestrian was reported at the intersection of I-70 Eastbound and I-225 Southbound in Denver’s Central Park neighborhood. The incident occurred on the roadway, which was recorded as a non-intersection zone under dark but lighted conditions. A pedestrian was improperly positioned in the roadway when an eastbound SUV, traveling straight, was involved. The SUV’s driver was not found to have any contributing action or factors related to the incident. No serious injuries or fatalities were reported.
