Pedestrian Injured in Traffic Incident at Ruby Hill Intersection

DENVER, CO 3/10/2025. On March 10, 2025, at approximately 4:52 PM MT, a traffic incident involving a pedestrian was reported at the intersection of W Mississippi Ave and S Raritan St in the Ruby Hill neighborhood of Denver. The incident occurred approximately 0.2 miles southeast of the major cross streets S Platte River Dr and W Mississippi Ave. The pedestrian, who failed to obey traffic signals, was struck by a passenger car traveling east and going straight. Although no serious injuries or fatalities were reported, the incident transpired under dark but lighted conditions, emphasizing the importance of adhering to traffic rules for pedestrian safety.
