Pedestrian Struck by Car on Colfax Avenue in Capitol Hill

DENVER, CO 5/4/2025. On May 4, 2025, at approximately 2:55 PM MT, a traffic incident was reported on the 700 block of East Colfax Avenue, about 0.5 miles west of the Colfax Avenue and Ogden Street intersection in Denver’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. The incident involved a passenger car traveling eastbound, recklessly driven and striking a pedestrian. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported. The pedestrian involved was not engaging in any contributing actions at the time. This incident adds to the 421 reported traffic incidents in the Capitol Hill area since May 6, 2024.
