Pedestrian Struck by SUV in Highland Neighborhood

DENVER, CO 8/4/2025. A traffic incident involving a pedestrian and an SUV was reported at 7:11 AM on August 4, 2025, in Denver’s Highland neighborhood. The incident occurred on the roadway approximately three blocks east of the intersection of N Wyandot Street and W 28th Avenue. The SUV, traveling south, reportedly failed to yield the right of way due to external distractions, striking a pedestrian. The event also involved minor collisions with parked motor vehicles. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported in this incident. This marks the 286th traffic incident in the Highland neighborhood since August 4, 2024.
