Possible DUI Incident on I-25 in Jefferson Park Results in Rollover

DENVER, CO 8/1/2025. On August 1, 2025, at 8:07 PM MT, a traffic incident was reported on I-25 Southbound near North Speer Boulevard in Denver’s Jefferson Park neighborhood. The accident involved two passenger vehicles traveling southbound and resulted in a front-to-rear collision followed by a rollover. The incident occurred on a lighted section of the roadway, approximately half a mile east of the intersection. Authorities suspect the involvement of impaired driving. Though distracted eating or drinking was noted as a contributing factor, there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported.
