DENVER, CO 5/22/2025. On May 22, 2025, at 4:33 PM Mountain Time, a traffic incident was reported at the intersection of Park Avenue West and Welton Street, located approximately 0.1 miles southeast of Downtown Denver. The incident involved a collision between a passenger car or van, moving eastward and allegedly engaging in reckless driving, and an SUV stopped in traffic. While no serious injuries or fatalities were reported, authorities have not ruled out the potential involvement of Driving under the Influence. This marks one of the many incidents in the busy Five Points neighborhood, where 615 other incidents have been reported since the same date last year.
