Possible DUI Incident Reported Following Collision in Central Park Neighborhood

DENVER, CO 12/13/2025. On December 13, 2025, at 8:41 PM Mountain Time, a traffic incident was reported near N Xenia St and E 54th Ave, approximately three blocks north of the major intersection at Central Park Blvd and E 56th Ave, in the Central Park neighborhood of Denver. The collision involved a passenger car traveling west, which reportedly struck the rear of a parked SUV while continuing straight. Although the incident occurred on a roadway with dark-lighted conditions, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. The driver of the passenger car was noted for careless driving. Authorities are investigating the possibility of Driving under the Influence as a contributing factor to the incident, which marks the 1,160th reported since December 14, 2024, in the Central Park area.
