Possible DUI Incident Reported in East Colfax

DENVER, CO 7/9/2025. On July 9, 2025, at approximately 4:19 PM MT, a traffic incident with potential DUI involvement was reported in the East Colfax neighborhood of Denver. The incident occurred on the 1300 block of N Spruce St, about 0.8 miles southwest of Colfax Avenue and Yosemite Street. It involved a southbound moving passenger vehicle colliding side-to-side with another passenger vehicle that was parked. The roadway was dark but lighted, and no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. The driver of the moving vehicle was cited for careless driving. This marks the 222nd reported traffic incident in the area since July 9, 2024.
