DENVER, CO 6/2/2025. A traffic incident was reported on June 2, 2025, at approximately 1:46 PM, involving possible Driving under the Influence in the West Colfax neighborhood of Denver. The location of the incident was on the 1500 block of North Meade Street, approximately 0.3 miles northwest of the intersection with West Colfax Avenue and about 0.5 miles southeast of the intersection with West 17th Avenue. According to preliminary reports, the incident involved a northbound passenger vehicle that collided front to rear with a parked vehicle on the roadway. The driver was noted for careless driving, although no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This marks one of the numerous incidents occurring in the West Colfax neighborhood, where there have been 222 reported traffic events since June 3, 2024.
