Possible DUI Incident Reported on E 8th Ave in Congress Park

DENVER, CO 10/6/2025. On October 6, 2025, at 6:37 PM MT, a traffic incident was reported on the 3700 block of E 8th Ave in Denver’s Congress Park neighborhood. The incident occurred approximately 0.3 miles west of the major intersection of E 8th Ave and Colorado Blvd. The collision involved a passenger car and a parked SUV on a non-intersection, dark-lit roadway. The driver of the westbound passenger car committed a lane violation leading to a front-to-rear collision with the parked SUV. No serious injuries or fatalities were reported, but the incident is being investigated as a possible case of Driving under the Influence. This marks the 266th incident in Congress Park since last year.
