DENVER, CO 6/7/2025. On June 7, 2025, at 8:36 PM, a traffic incident was reported on the eastbound lanes of I-70 near North Peoria Street in the Central Park neighborhood of Denver. Approximately half a mile east from the intersection of I-70 and Peoria Street, a pickup truck, traveling straight, rear-ended a passenger car in a dark but well-lit area on the roadway, specifically on a ramp. The driver of the pickup truck, noted for careless driving, may have been under the influence, although no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This incident adds to over a thousand reported in the same area since last year.
