Serious Injury in Careless Driving Incident at E Alameda Ave and S Ivy St

DENVER, CO 7/10/2025. A traffic incident resulting in a serious injury was reported on July 10, 2025, at 1:03 PM MT in the Hilltop neighborhood of Denver. The collision occurred at the intersection of E Alameda Ave and S Ivy St, approximately 0.3 miles east of the major crossroads of E Alameda Ave and S Monaco Pkwy. The incident involved two SUVs; one traveling south engaged in careless driving due to driver ability or age, and the other proceeding west. No fatalities were reported, but one person was seriously injured in the collision. In the past year, the Hilltop area has experienced 149 traffic-related incidents.
