DENVER, CO 6/14/2025. On June 14, 2025, at 11:13 PM Mountain time, a serious traffic incident was reported in the Washington Park neighborhood of Denver. The crash occurred on the 300 block of S Franklin St, approximately 0.5 miles south of the intersection with E Virginia Ave and about 0.6 miles north of E Louisiana Ave. The accident involved a passenger car traveling south that collided front-to-side with a parked SUV, resulting in the car overturning. The car’s driver was reported to have been distracted and driving carelessly. There was one serious injury, but no fatalities were reported at the scene. This adds to the 151 reported incidents in the area over the past year.
