Serious Injury Reported in Collision at E 61st Ave and N Tower Rd

DENVER, CO 12/3/2025. On December 3, 2025, at 10:16 AM MT, a traffic collision involving two passenger vehicles occurred at the intersection of E 61st Avenue and N Tower Road in the DIA neighborhood of Denver. The accident took place on a wet roadway that was dark but well-lit, approximately 2 miles west of Peña Boulevard. A southbound vehicle failed to stop at the traffic signal and crashed front-to-side with a westbound vehicle attempting a left turn. One person sustained serious injuries, while no fatalities were reported. This incident marks the 427th traffic-related occurrence in the DIA neighborhood since the same date last year.
