Serious Injury Reported in Multi-Vehicle Collision at Elyria Swansea Intersection

DENVER, CO 2/16/2025. A traffic collision involving two passenger vehicles was reported in the Elyria Swansea neighborhood of Denver, resulting in one serious injury. The incident occurred at the intersection of E 52nd Avenue and N Vasquez Blvd, approximately 0.2 miles northwest of the junction, and was reported on February 16, 2025, at 8:02 AM Mountain time. The crash involved a northbound vehicle following too closely and colliding with another vehicle that was stopped in traffic, resulting in a front-to-rear impact and a serious injury to one individual. There have been 355 incidents reported in this neighborhood since February 16, 2024.
