Serious Injury Reported in Traffic Accident on I-70 Ramp in Denver

DENVER, CO 8/7/2025. On August 7, 2025, at 4:19 PM, a traffic incident with one serious injury was reported on the westbound I-70 ramp near North Brighton Boulevard in the Elyria Swansea neighborhood of Denver. The accident involved a passenger car that over-corrected while entering the traffic way, resulting in contact with a barricade. The incident occurred approximately 0.5 miles southwest of the intersection of I-70 and Brighton Boulevard. Despite the dark-lighted conditions at the time, there were no apparent contributing factors to the driver’s actions. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported in the accident.
