DENVER, CO 5/31/2025. A traffic collision involving two passenger vehicles was reported on May 31, 2025, at 5:49 PM at the intersection of W Dakota Ave and S Osceola Perry Aly in the Westwood neighborhood of Denver. The incident took place on the roadway under dark but lighted conditions, approximately half a mile southwest of the intersection with Federal Blvd and Alameda Ave. The accident occurred as the first vehicle, traveling east, disregarded traffic markings and collided with a second vehicle, traveling south, resulting in a front-to-side and front-to-rear impact. One person sustained serious injuries in the crash; however, no fatalities were reported. This marks the 294th incident in Westwood since June 1, 2024.
