Two Seriously Injured in SUV and Pickup Crash on I-70 Westbound

DENVER, CO 10/7/2025. On the morning of October 7, 2025, at approximately 9:41 AM, a traffic incident involving an SUV and a pickup truck occurred on I-70 Westbound, just west of N Lowell Blvd in the Berkeley neighborhood of Denver. The crash, characterized by side-to-side and front-to-rear collisions and contact with a concrete highway barrier, resulted in two serious injuries. The driver of the SUV was reported to have been driving carelessly with aggressive behavior, while the pickup truck showed no apparent contributing factor. Despite the severity of the crash, no fatalities were reported. This incident adds to the 181 traffic incidents recorded in the Berkeley neighborhood over the past year.
