Careless Driving Causes Injury in Morning Crash on I-25 in Baker

DENVER, CO 11/27/2024. A traffic incident was reported at 6:51 AM on November 27, 2024, involving a passenger car and a pickup truck on northbound I-25, approximately 500 feet west of the Alameda Avenue interchange in the Baker neighborhood of Denver. The crash occurred as the passenger car, attributed to careless driving due to a medical condition, ran off the right side of the road. The collision, which happened in a non-intersection area, resulted in a front-to-rear impact with a pickup truck stopped in traffic. One individual sustained serious injuries, although no fatalities were reported. This incident adds to the 660 traffic incidents reported in the Baker area within the past year.
