After an accident, it is daunting to manage the paperwork, insurance companies, medical bills, and auto repairs while also trying to heal from your injuries. We’ve compiled a list of questions that we often receive from accident victims. Of course, your accident was no doubt unique to you so please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have questions. It feels like Denver’s streets are getting more dangerous by the day. But, aside from weekday morning traffic reports, it can be hard to determine how dangerous and where the car crash hot spots are. We wanted a way to view car accidents in Denver by type and location so that we could make better, safer decisions about our travel routes. So, we created the Denver Accident Map, which allows you to drill down by month (within the last 12 months) and all the way down to the intersection closest to where you live. Use it to keep your family safe! Explore the map here.

Colorado’s laws concerning motorcycle and auto accidents are confusing! Likewise, our insurance laws are extremely complex. It can be hard to know your rights and the best ways to protect yourself before, during, and after an accident. The O’Sullivan Law Firm wrote two handy books to help you. Our personal injury lawyers in Denver believe it’s important that you know your rights and that you do everything in your power to protect yourself from harm – physically and legally. Contact us if you have any questions at all.

At The O’Sullivan Law Firm, we see our work on behalf of clients as a calling and we also believe we must act as good citizens in our communities.
Distracted driving is killing Coloradans. That is why Scott O’Sullivan has teamed up with Senator Lois Court to help propose, draft and pass new legislation that imposes stiffer penalties on distracted driving. Most recently, we helped Senator Court pass a law that increased penalties from $50 to $300 for the first distracted driving offense. Penalties increase from there. However, we have plans to work with Senator Court on additional laws that will make our roads safer for drivers, riders, and walkers. Read more here.
At The O’Sullivan Law Firm, we see far too many injured motorcyclists. (And sadly, we meet the families of too many killed bikers.) In 2017, it became clear that we had to get proactive and stand up for biker’s rights and their safety on our roads. We launched Rider Justice, the advocacy arm of The O’Sullivan Law firm. Through Rider Justice, we fight biker discrimination and promote safer roads for motorcyclists. If we’re successful, there will be fewer bikers hurt and killed on Colorado roads, auto drivers will be more aware of and respectful of bikers, and bikers won’t receive as many undeserved traffic tickets.
