Fatal Traffic Accident Reported in Denver’s Berkeley Neighborhood

DENVER, CO 7/9/2025. On July 9, 2025, at approximately 2:32 PM MT, a fatal traffic incident occurred in the Berkeley neighborhood, near the intersection of W 46th Ave and N Tennyson St in Denver. The accident, which involved a passenger car that veered off the right side of the road, striking a tree, resulted in one fatality. The incident took place approximately 500 feet northwest of the mentioned cross streets, under dark but lighted conditions. Despite speeding being identified as a factor, no additional human errors were reported to have contributed to the accident. Since July 11, 2024, this is one of 183 traffic incidents reported in the Berkeley neighborhood.
