Pedestrian Incident Reported at Highland Intersection in Denver

DENVER, CO 10/24/2024. On October 24, 2024, at 3:03 PM, a traffic incident involving a pedestrian was reported at the intersection of N Pecos St and W 38th Ave in the Highland neighborhood of Denver. The incident occurred on the roadway at an unlighted intersection. A southbound SUV was making a left turn and failed to yield the right of way, reportedly because the driver looked but did not see. The pedestrian was present on the roadway but took no contributing action toward the incident. No serious injuries or fatalities were reported. Since October 31, 2023, 357 other incidents have been reported in the Highland neighborhood.
