Possible DUI Collision Reported at E 16th Ave and N Franklin St

DENVER, CO 4/1/2025. On April 1, 2025, at approximately 5:15 PM MT, a traffic incident occurred at the intersection of E 16th Ave and N Franklin St in the City Park West neighborhood of Denver. This location is situated close to major streets and was reported under dark yet lighted conditions with wet roads. The collision involved two passenger vehicles: one traveling eastbound and going straight, and the other moving south and making a left turn. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. However, there is a suspicion that the incident may have involved Driving under the Influence. The area has seen 169 traffic incidents in the past year.
