Possible DUI Incident Causes Traffic Accident on I-70 in Berkeley

DENVER, CO 4/22/2025. On April 22, 2025, at 2:55 PM Mountain time, a traffic incident was reported on I-70 Highway westbound and North Federal Boulevard in the Berkeley neighborhood of Denver, approximately a quarter-mile south of the major cross streets. The accident involved two passenger vehicles traveling west, with one suspected of reckless driving and weaving, leading to multiple collisions, including front to rear and side to side impacts. Despite the non-intersection location and dark but lighted conditions, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. Authorities suggest the incident may involve Driving under the Influence. This marks the 167th traffic incident reported in Berkeley since April 26, 2024.
