Two Seriously Injured in Pre-Dawn Collision at E 56th Ave and N Tower Rd in Denver

DENVER, CO 12/25/2024. On December 25, 2024, at approximately 2:07 AM, a serious traffic incident occurred at the intersection of E 56th Avenue and N Tower Road in the Gateway – Green Valley Ranch neighborhood of Denver. A passenger car traveling west reportedly collided with an SUV heading north, resulting in a front-to-side impact. The incident was characterized by careless driving on the part of the car driver, with no apparent contributing factors observed. Two individuals sustained serious injuries, one from each vehicle involved. This intersection, roughly 0.3 miles southwest of major cross streets, marks the scene of one of 535 reported traffic incidents in the area over the past year, though fortunately, no fatalities were reported in this particular event.
