DENVER, CO 11/2/2024. On November 2, 2024, at 9:57 AM MT, a fatal traffic incident occurred on I-25 Northbound approximately 0.5 miles north of W 17th Ave in Denver. The non-intersection crash involved a passenger car and an SUV, both traveling north. The passenger car, observed to be slowing, collided front-to-rear with the SUV, which was stopped in traffic. The incident resulted in one fatality, with no serious injuries reported among the survivors. The driver of the passenger car was cited for careless driving. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
