Fatal Car Crash on S Santa Fe Dr Near I-25 in Denver’s Baker Neighborhood

DENVER, CO 10/25/2024. On October 25, 2024, at 7:37 PM, a fatal traffic incident occurred in the Baker neighborhood of Denver on northbound S Santa Fe Dr, approximately 0.3 miles south of the major intersection with I-25. A passenger vehicle traveling north careened into a curb and struck a traffic signal pole. The accident took place on a roadway adjacent to a parking lot under dark but lighted conditions. Careless driving was reported as a contributing factor, resulting in one fatality. This incident is among 666 reported in the Baker neighborhood since October 30, 2023.
