Serious Injury in Collision on S Federal Blvd in Denver

DENVER, CO 1/9/2026. A traffic incident resulting in serious injury was reported on January 9, 2026, at 1:45 PM Mountain Time in the Westwood neighborhood of Denver. The collision occurred at the intersection of S Federal Blvd and W Exposition Ave, approximately 500 feet southwest of this major crossing. A passenger car traveling south, reportedly driven carelessly and with aggressive driving behavior, collided front-to-rear with a parked transit bus under dark, lighted, slushy road conditions. Despite the severity of the incident, which resulted in one serious injury, no fatalities were reported. This marks the 326th traffic incident in the Westwood area since January 12, 2025.
