DENVER, CO 7/20/2025. On July 20, 2025, at 10:36 AM MDT, an SUV accident was reported on the 1200 block of S Santa Fe Dr in the Overland neighborhood of Denver. The vehicle, traveling south, veered off the right side of the road approximately 0.4 miles south of the intersection with W Mississippi Ave. The incident resulted in the SUV hitting a guardrail, colliding with a light pole, and eventually overturning. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported. Authorities are investigating the possibility of the driver operating the vehicle under the influence, as careless driving and failing to see obstacles contributed to the accident.
