Pedestrian Accident Reported at 14th Ave and Corona St in Denver

DENVER, CO 8/16/2025. On August 16, 2025, at 3:40 PM, an incident involving a pedestrian occurred at the intersection of East 14th Avenue and North Corona Street in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Denver. The incident took place on the roadway under dark but lighted conditions. A passenger car or van, traveling east and making a left turn, was reportedly involved, with the driver cited for careless driving and noted to have looked but did not see the pedestrian. There were no serious injuries or fatalities reported. Since August 16, 2024, there have been 431 other incidents reported in the Capitol Hill area.
