Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle at Welton St in Downtown Denver

DENVER, CO 9/10/2025. On September 10, 2025, at 8:46 AM Mountain time, a traffic incident was reported in the Central Business District (CBD) of Denver involving a pedestrian and a vehicle. The accident occurred on the 1500 block of Welton Street, approximately 0.4 miles northeast from the intersection of 15th Street and Welton Street. The pedestrian was reportedly traveling on the sidewalk against the flow of traffic when a passenger car, traveling east, made a left turn and struck the pedestrian. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported. This incident adds to the 295 other traffic-related incidents recorded in the CBD neighborhood since September 11, 2024.
