On August 13, 2024, at 4:54 PM, a traffic incident involving a passenger car and an SUV occurred at the intersection of N Havana St and I-70 Eastbound in Denver’s Central Park neighborhood. The incident, which happened on the roadway under dark-lighted conditions, involved a passenger car making a left turn without yielding the right of way and an SUV traveling straight. The collision resulted in one serious injury but no fatalities. The Central Park neighborhood has seen 902 other reported incidents since August 13, 2023.
